Follow these simple steps to connect to the Launch(ed) Women in Technology Conference:

- If you registered for the 2/23 Coding Workshop, create Thunkable account:
We will be using the website Thunkable, a block-based app building program: https://thunkable.com/#/
Thunkable requires you to create a free account. Make sure you get logged in before the start of the workshop. For an overview of the Thunkable site, watch this!

If you registered for the 3/11 Making Workshop, start collecting raw materials and fasteners. Examples of raw materials include: cardboard, newspaper, cans, jars, plastic, and paper. Examples of fasteners include: tape, glue, velcro, brass binder clips, staplers, and thread. - Check your email:
The workshops will take place on Zoom. Your Zoom link will be sent two days prior to the workshop from iuc@iu.edu. The invitation will be sent to the same email address you used to register. - Download Zoom:
Make sure to download Zoom. If you don’t already have it installed, you can do so here:
Download Zoom - Click the link to connect:
Between 3:45pm-4:00pm Eastern Time on the day of your workshop, click the link to join. - Check your audio:
When you connect, there will be music playing. If you can’t hear it, test your audio settings:- Make sure your volume is turned up.
- Look at your audio settings in the Zoom Meeting and make sure the correct output is checked under the ‘Select a Speaker’ menu.
- If you don’t have a speaker on your computer, you can plug in a headset.
- Check your microphone:
Make sure you have a microphone plugged in - either one built into your computer/camera or headphones with a microphone plugged in. - Technical questions:
We will have a technical person available to answer questions before and during the workshops. Their contact information will be sent with your Zoom invitation two days before the workshop. - Conference questions:
